Heather Welle grew up in Bemidji, MN. She was involved in a variety of activities during her school years including: soccer, band, and cheerleading. Heather graduated from Bemidji High School in 1996 and started UND that fall. After changing majors nearly every other month she found herself truly “undecided” at the end of her freshman year. Heather decided to take time off from school and become a Flight Attendant. She did this for nearly a year and a half and enjoyed traveling the world and seeing places she will probably never get the opportunity to see again. After her short career as a Flight Attendant Heather decided to return to UND. She pursued an Education degree and during her years at UND she worked at Applebee’s. Heather is now with Solid Rock Financial and has found true happiness with what she does. She is married to Travis and they have three sons. Her children are involved in hockey, football, baseball, golf, and soccer.
