A Day in the Life: The Air Traffic Controller (Member Only)

May 12 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Free

The Young Professionals Network continues its A Day in the Life series with a unique, behind-the-scenes look at one of the most critical roles in aviation. Join us for an exclusive opportunity to tour an FAA Control Tower and hear directly from current air traffic controllers about their career paths, daily responsibilities, and the fast-paced environment they work in.

📅 May 12
⏰ 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM

We will begin the event by meeting at 12 Stones Coffee Co. before heading together to the control tower. This ensures a smooth arrival for all attendees and allows the group to travel together to the secure location.

Due to space limitations within the tower cab and to avoid disrupting active operations, this event is strictly limited to 7 participants. Advance registration is required.

To respect federal regulations and maintain a professional environment, no photos or videos will be permitted at any time during the tour. All attendees are expected to follow staff instructions and adhere to all guidelines provided. These expectations are essential to preserving this opportunity and ensuring similar experiences can be offered in the future.

This is a rare chance to gain insight into a high-responsibility, high-impact profession—don’t miss it!
