CDHS Holding Alley Cats and Dogs Bowling Fundraiser

Central Dakota Humane Society (CDHS) will be holding an Alley Cats and Dogs bowling fundraiser at 1 p.m., Sat., April 26 at Midway Lanes in Mandan. All proceeds from the event will go toward the care of the animals at the CDHS shelter.

Registration is $100 for a team of four bowlers and sign-up should be completed by April 25. To register call Linda Roehrich at 701-258-1040, or email llroehrich@hotmail.com.

Anyone bringing a Needs List item will receive a free gift. The needs list can be viewed at www.cdhs.net/needslist.

Prizes will be awarded for contests such as lowest game, highest game, most experienced team, most gutter balls, best granny roll and best team uniform.

CDHS is a no-kill animal shelter that serves Bismarck-Mandan and the surrounding communities by housing and finding homes for lost, strayed or abandoned animals, promoting spaying and neutering and offering educational opportunities. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and is located just three miles north of Mandan on Highway 1806. People can visit the shelter or can log onto the CDHS website at www.cdhs.net to view pictures of adoptable animals. CDHS invites all animal lovers to consider becoming supporting members or donors.
