A 5:01 Social is an after work social event held at the facility of a YPN Partner or a local business. They begin promptly at 5:01pm, hence the name, allowing most Network members to attend immediately following work. Food and refreshments are always served. The event is an opportunity for the hosting business to get exposure in front of young professionals and network with members of YPN organization.

The 5:01 Social is one of the oldest events of the Network, dating back to 2005, and has continued on an ongoing basis ever since. While these events are primarily a function of the Social Team, the Entrepreneur Team (E-Team) often assists with connecting our organization with the businesses.
