Why do you feel it is important to be part of the YP Network? The YP Network has so many opportunities to get further involved in our community and meet great people while doing so!
Are you involved in other organizations in the community? If so, to what extent and why is this important to you? I am currently serving as a Board Member of the Bismarck Optimist Club and am active on the Easter Egg Hunt Committee. I love the Optimist Club as it helps connect me with awesome volunteer opportunities with a special focus of the youth in our Community. I also have been an active volunteer for the United Way Day of Caring, and participated in the Little Black Dress campaign last year. I have taught at least one Junior Achievements class consecutively for the last 3 years with no plans to stop in the future.
What professional advice do you have for other young professionals? Stepping out of your comfort zone is the best thing you can do for yourself and your career.
How do you spend your free time? Anytime I have “free time” it is usually spent with my family. I have 3 kids (Cali 10, Chase 7 & Aryah almost 2) my husband Ryan, and I also have a 120lb White German Shepard named Brody. We enjoy spending time outside when weather permits, and taking small short vacations when possible. If ever they aren’t around, I am usually crocheting or catching up on my binge watch shows.
What is your favorite quote? “Stop being afraid on what can go wrong and thing of what could go right”- Tony Robbins
