Posted by Young Professionals on Tuesday, April 9th, 2013 in Latest News, Member Spotlight | Comments (0)

Leah LoerchName:  Leah Loerch

Place of Employment:  Coventry HealthCare

Job Title:  Manager, Service Operations.

Years with Company:  07/08/02- 11 years.  We opened a Coventry office in Bismarck in 2002, and I was part of the first training class we had here in Bismarck.

Hometown:  Mandan

Role in the YP Network:  Part of the Service Team

What does the committee feel she contributes to YPN?   (Statement by Team Co-leads)

“Leah always is one of the first to step up when the Service Team has a service opportunity. She often brings her daughter with to the service events, thus inspiring a new generation of volunteerism. In the last year, Leah and her daughter helped at the Corporate Cup Challenge, Papa’s Pumpkin Patch, Salvation Army bell ringing, United Way pancake breakfast, Great American Bike Race and other service events we’re forgetting. While her schedule doesn’t always allow her to attend meetings, she more than makes up for it with her commitment and dedication to actively participating in the events.”

Why do you feel it is important to be part of the network?    I feel it is important to be part of a network for a couple reasons:  attracting more opportunities, getting new ideas, new insights, and new wisdom, and personal growth and development as a person.

How do you spend your free time?    I love to volunteer when I have any free time, but most of my time is keeping up with my kids and their sports. My girls are involved in volleyball, golf, track and tennis.

Are you involved in other organizations in the community?  Yes, I am President of the Bismarck- Mandan Leadership Development Organization, an NMA Chapter.

What is your favorite quote?  “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”  -Winston Churchill
