What does the Committee feel he/she contributes toYPN? (Statement by Team Co-leads)
“As a PD team member, he is always one of the first to volunteer or lending a helping hand. When we needed a venue for a recent PD event, he coordinated his own workplace and helped organize all the logistics. He is very personable and always makes new PD members feel welcome. We look forward to seeing him as a leader in his new role as co-lead.”
Why do you feel it is important to be part of the network? Making connections with my peers has helped me issues every young professional faces as they start their career. Whether it’s a question on handling work-life balance or planning your financial future, it helps to get insight from individuals who recently faced similar situations.
How do you spend your free time? I spend a lot of time outdoors. If I’m not out running, I enjoy golfing, road/mountain biking, camping, hunting, and fishing. If I’m stuck inside, I do a lot of reading and writing.
Are you involved in other organizations in the community? I’m extremely active in several running clubs, such as the Dakota River Runners, and hope to join Toastmasters and Rotary in the near future.
