Project Management Workshop Opportunity

Posted by Tiffany Barth on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 in Latest News | Comments (0)

YP members and non-members are invited to register for a project management workshop at the University of Mary presented by Rich Garmin of Great River Energy on October 22 from 6-8pm. Information and RSVP details below:

Approximately 70% of all projects are late and over budget. The average cost overrun is more than 40%. Billions of dollars are wasted on projects yearly due to costly budget and schedule overruns. How do you avoid becoming part of that 70%? Plan and manage your projects using project management tools and techniques such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), precedence diagrams, critical path analysis, cost estimation techniques, building contingency reserves and evaluating and projecting project costs and schedules using Earned Value Analysis.
