Cassia Austreim, a trust administrator at American Bank Center, joined Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network in the fall 2016. Originally from Williston, Cassia arrived in Bismarck after starting her career in Dickinson.
In addition to Service Team, Cassia is also involved in professional development, entrepreneur and social teams. She recently served as team captain of the YPN Orange Crush bike riding team that raised $2,165 at the 2017 Sanford Health Great American Bike Race!
When asked about the importance of YPN, Cassia said, “It’s a way to network with individuals, learn about the community you live in and to learn about the different organizations and services that support the community. I also believe it is a stepping stone for young professionals to get connected with the right individuals to achieve their career goals.” Cassia went on to say that, “When you get a group of passionate personages together, there are endless possibilities to be accomplished and actualized.”
When Cassia has free time she enjoys golfing, doing outdoor activities with family and friends, traveling to new places, reading a good book and attending inspirational and career development seminars. She recently started a graduate school program at the University of Mary. One of her favorite quotes is, “If your goals don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough.”
When asked about Cassia, Service Team Co-Leader Steven Richard, said that “Cassia has made a significant impact on our Service Team, since joining last year. She is a frequent participant in our volunteer activities and is always willing to step up for leadership roles on committees, as well as coordinate a few of our Service Team events. We are happy to have her as part of the team!”
