Red, white and blue are popping up in yards across Bismarck-Mandan. No, it’s not a late 4th of July celebration. It’s officially election season!
With multiple candidates and eight constitutional and statutory measures, it can seem complicated. Take some time to find out what’s on your ballot and learn about the issues, so you can make informed choices on Nov. 4 (or earlier!).
The Secretary of State has conveniently put everything you need to know about voting in North Dakota on one simple website – vote.nd.gov. There you can find your polling place, make sure you have a valid ID, and check out what’s on your ballot in advance.
Think you won’t be able to make it to the polls on Nov. 4? No problem! Apply for an absentee ballot here, or pick one up at your county auditor’s office (just search for your address to find the auditor).
But before you cast your vote, make sure you’re informed on the issues. The ballot language for all eight measures can be found here.
Make your voice heard this November and help set the course for the future of North Dakota.
