YPN Announces 2019 VP Candidates

Posted by Joanna Drennen on Thursday, April 4th, 2019 in Event News, Latest News | Comments (0)

We’re excited to introduce our 2019 YPN VP candidates, Ryan Jockers and Katie Nehl!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll share information about these two – starting today! – so you can get to know them better before casting your vote at our Cinco Anniversary Celebration on May 8!

Ryan Jockers

Where Are You From: Tacoma, WA
Place Of Employment: North Dakota University System
Job Title: Strategic Analytics Coordinator
How Long You’ve Been In The YPN: Since March 2018
Fun Fact: Living in North Dakota for 13 years, you learn how to have fun in the winter. Our house is full of board games and card games, and I really enjoy trying out new games that I find with my family and friends, especially in January…

Katie Nehl

Where Are You From: Richardton, ND
Place Of Employment: First Community Credit Union
Job Title: Communications Manager
How Long You’ve Been In YPN: I joined the Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network right when I moved to Bismarck, three years ago. Prior to that, I was involved in the Young Professionals Network in Jamestown for three years.
Fun Fact: I grew up on a cattle ranch in western ND that has been family-owned for 133 years, this year! As a result, I’ve learned the value of not only hard work, but the importance of dedication. Growing up on a ranch also allowed me the opportunity to develop a strong passion for riding horse, beginning before I could even walk. I competed in small town rodeos, high school rodeo and also participated in 4-H. I still rodeo and own horses to this day! It’s a huge passion of mine.

Stay tuned for more information about our Vice President candidates!
